Transactional SMS
Triggered by a user action or system event: order placed, payment received, OTP, shipping update. Latency and reliability matter more than creative copy. Usually sent via the SMS API.
Bulk SMS
One-to-many campaigns: promotions, announcements, reminders to a list. Usually sent from the portal with CSV upload, or via SEND_BULK_SAME / SEND_BULK_DIFFERENT.

Both run on VeloBotix local routes. Keep marketing consent separate from transactional alerts. Share Sender ID so customers recognise your brand.
